Welcome to the MINERAL WELLS SENIOR CENTER
Fun and delicious food for active Mineral Wells Seniors
5 days a week
The Mineral Wells Senior Center is a non-profit day center that serves adults who are age 50 or older. We are open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, with occasional special programs or activities in evenings or weekends. Our schedule includes daily low-cost hot meals, cards and dominoes, exercises for flexibility/range of motion, strength and balance, health checks, monthly birthday parties, quilting and crafts, Wii games, Bingo, music groups, and more.
Typically offer two Dinner and Dance Evenings each month and Senior Night Out gatherings at local restaurants
Our Mission& Vision
Cross Timbers Senior Citizens Support Task Force, Inc. was established in 1994 to set basic policies, develop beneficial programs for the particular needs and concerns of the Senior Citizens of Mineral Wells and Palo Pinto County
The Senior Bus
One of the challenges many seniors face is the inability to drive during the day and night. Thanks to the generous anonymous Donations from a couple of Mineral Wells residents, the Mineral Wells Senior Center has a 16-passenger bus, and we can pick up and take home our Seniors who are homebound because of the inability to drive. There is a modest fee charged to help defray the fuel cost, BUT we are always appreciative of donations to assure proper maintenance and reliability.

The Mineral Wells Senior Center hosts two Friday night Dinner/Dances most months. They are open to residents of all ages and have become a popular venue for low-cost FUN and Food. They typically cost $5.00 to $11.00 for a delicious home-cooked dinner and great LIVE music. Space is limited, so always best to call ahead to assure a spot. |
